Prep, all of the ingredients first and while prepping the veggies, place the pasta on the stove. Prepare the pasta according to package instructions.
In a bowl, mix together all the ingredients for the dressing.
In a large salad bowl, add the halved tomatoes and the cheese. When the pasta is done, drain the water and add no more than a tablespoon of oil. This will keep it from sticking as it cools.
Once the pasta has cooled, add it to the cheese and tomatoes. Lastly, toss the dressing in the caprese pasta salad then add salt to taste. Serve and enjoy.
