1poundpotatoes, diced(any potatoes are fine, I used Yukon)
1cupchicken broth
1/2headcabbage, sliced
salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
To start, prep all the ingredients before starting to cook. Things will move fast once you get started making the recipe. You'll need a pot or pan with a lid.
In a pot or skillet, quickly sear one side of the sausage on medium high heat, not too hot.
Remove the cooked sausage and add in the diced onion and the minced garlic. Season lightly with salt and pepper then cook until the onions have softened.
Then, add the diced potatoes in along with the cooked sausage from earlier. Pour the broth on top of those ingredients. Next, add the sliced cabbage then cover the pan or pot.
Cook the cabbage, potatoes and sausage for 15 minutes on a medium heat. Please, stir at least every 5 minutes because there isn't a ton of liquid in the bottom. Add more or less time for your personal preference on the tenderness of the cabbage.
Before serving taste for salt and pepper then enjoy.
