Ingredients

  • 1.5 cup ripe banana, mashed 2-3 bananas
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 6 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup whole buttermilk
  • 1.5 cup all-purpose flour 205g
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350℉.
  • Mix the mashed bananas with the sugar. Then, add in the eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract and buttermilk. In a separate bowl, toss in the flour, salt and baking soda. Combine the dry and wet ingredients.
  • In a lined loaf pan, pour the banana bread batter. Place in the oven for 40-50 minutes or until fully cooked through the center. You can take a toothpick through the center to test. It'll come out clean when the bread is done.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to fully cool before slicing and serving.
