Equipment

  • 9x13 baking dish

Ingredients

  • 16 ounce can of biscuits
  • 16 ounce breakfast sausage
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 pack peppered gravy mix

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425℉.
  • In a skillet or frying pan, cook the sausage completely then set aside.
  • In the baking dish, like the biscuits then press them down into the pan and close the creases with your thumbs. An example of this is below in the photo.
  • In a bowl, combine the eggs and sour cream. Season the eggs to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Pour the egg mix across the biscuits then sprinkle the cooked sausage over the baking dish. Place in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
  • While baking, make the gravy according to the package instructions on the stove top.
  • When the casserole is done cooking, remove it from the oven. Spread the gravy across the top of the casserole then allow the casserole to cool before serving, enjoy.
