Equipment

  • 9x13 baking dish

Ingredients

  • 16 ounce can of biscuits
  • 16 ounce breakfast sausage
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425F.
  • Next, brown the sausage on the stove top. Then, place the biscuits in the bottom of the baking dish. Flatten and press them together like in the photo below.
  • Whisk the eggs into the sour cream until smooth. You can add a little black pepper to taste but you shouldn't need much salt due to the sausage and cheese. Adjust the seasoning to taste. Next, pour the eggs on top of the biscuits. Lastly, sprinkle the cheese and breakfast sausage evenly across the top. Place in the oven and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and allow the casserole to cool about 10-15 minutes before serving, enjoy.
