Ingredients
 

  • 12 ounces boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 6-8 strips bacon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black peppers
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon chili powder

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F
  • Slice chicken breast into bite sized chunks. Not too small
  • Season chicken chunks with spice mixture. Be sure to evenly coat
  • Wrap bacon around chicken chunks. Use toothpick to secure bacon or lay on the seam on baking sheet to prevent bacon from unraveling
  • Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes then place on broil and cook back on both sides
  • Serve.

Notes

Helpful Recipe Tips

  • Using thick cut bacon helps make a healthier flavor in the bite.
  • Use toothpicks to secure the bacon or wrap over, then lay seam side down. Either will keep the bacon from coming unraveled during cooking.
  • Do not skip broiling afterward. If you skip the bacon can beat a bit undercooked.
