  • 1 medium sweet potato, sliced into wedges
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, fine
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Instructions

  • First, peel the sweet potato then slice into wedges. They do not have to be perfect but slice in half the long way then cut the wedges from each half.
  • In a bowl, toss the raw wedges with the seasonings and oil. Preheat the air fryer to 375F.
  • When the air fryer is preheated remove the basket and add in the sweet potato wedges. Try not to crowd them but it doesn't have to be perfect because you will shake the basket. You should be able to fit the entire sweet potato in.
  • Air fry for 7 minutes. Remove the basket and shake the sweet potatoes around or rearrange them with tongs. Place basket back and air fry another 5 minutes. Depending on wattage you may need to add more or less time.
  • When sweet potatoes are done allow to cool a bit before serving because the insides will be hot.
