Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into chunks
  • cooking oil spray
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce or barbecue sauce for tossing

Flour station

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Egg wash station

  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce or milk

Instructions

  • First, slice up the chicken breast into large chunks. Then, set up some stations to bread the chicken. You'll need an egg wash and a flouring station.
  • Dip the chicken into the egg wash and wipe off any excess. Next coat the chicken in the seasoned flour. Set the coated chicken on a plate and allow the flour to absorb the egg while you finish with the others.
  • Next, preheat the air fryer to 400℉.
  • Before adding into the air fryer basket, spray the breaded chicken with the vegetable oil. This makes a huge difference, do not skip if possible. Now, place the chicken in the preheated air fryer and cook for 10-12 minutes and flipping the chicken halfway through the cook. The time will vary off of how big or small your chunks are.
  • When they are finished, quickly toss them in your favorite soft and enjoy. Eat them quickly to enjoy the crispiness.
