Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard (sub with mayo)
  • salt & black pepper to taste

Crust

  • 1/4 cup pecans, chopped
  • 2 tablespoon breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • honey, drizzle across the top of the crust before baking

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350℉
  • In a small bowl mix all the ingredients for the crust. Then, season the salmon with salt and black pepper with the exception of the top where you'll put the crust at.
  • Now, take the dijon mustard and spread it across the top of the salmon. This is what will help the crust stick.
  • Add the pecan crust to the tops of the salmon then place on a sheet pan.
  • Now, place in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until crust is brown and salmon is cooked through.
  • Allow to cool a bit for the crust to harden and become crispy and the salmon to cool, enjoy.
