To start, season the chicken with salt and pepper to taste. In a frying pan or cast-iron sear the chicken with a little oil until both sides are golden and cooked through.
When the chicken is finished, lower the heat to medium. Add in the chicken broth and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer then add in the gnocchi.
Allow the gnocchi to double in size. This will take 2-3 minutes at the most. When they have doubled add in the heavy cream, lemon pepper seasoning and parsley. Turn the heat off and mix those ingredients in. Allow the gnocchi to sit for another 2-3 minutes before serving to thicken the sauce.
Serve the chicken and gnocchi together infused with lemon. Lastly, garnish with the grated parmesan and enjoy.
