First, slice the chicken breast into small chunks or bites and toss them in 1 tablespoon of soy sauce. Allow them to sit while you prepare everything else. Prep the sauce then sat to the side.
This isn't the "chef way" to do things but to keep the recipe simple flour the chicken like this. Add beaten egg to the chicken chunks. Make sure they are all coated. Then, toss the chicken in a separate bag with the flour. They'll be coated and ready to fry. Is it perfect? No, but it's good enough.
Fry the chunks of chicken until they are cooked all the way through. They will not be crispy but because of the flour the sauce will stick beautifully.
Next, in another pan add the sauce from earlier on a medium heat. Allow it to heat up while continuously stirring. Once you notice bubbles and the sauce thickening toss in the the cooked chicken.
Now, toss the chicken until all of it is coated then remove from heat.
Lastly, serve the honey lemon chicken after it has cooled a bit and enjoy.
