Equipment

  • Non-stick griddle

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, chopped or thin cut
  • 1/4 cup honey

Marinade

  • 1/4 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon harissa paste
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2 teaspoon salt add more to taste at the end if needed
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  • First, chop the chicken breast up into small chunks unless you have thinly cut chicken breast.
  • Next, in a small bowl add the ingredients into the bowl with the chicken. Use a glove or spoon and mix everything together evenly. Cover the bowl and allow the chicken to marinate 1-4 hours.
  • Once the chicken is done marinating add some oil to a non-stick griddle on medium heat. Take the chicken from the marinade and straight onto the griddle.
  • Quick tip: if you have to cook in batches because you need to use a frying pan. You can clean the pan in the middle of the cook and prevent nasty, burnt flavored build up.
  • Add the chicken and cook until the chicken is cooked all the way through. You will want to try to cook all the chicken at once because the leftover marinade will start to burn and get on the fresh pieces. And that won't taste very good.
  • Once chicken is finished serve with a side dish like rice or any of your preference.
