Ingredients
 

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 cup long grain white rice, dry
  • 1/2 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 1-2 cup shredded cheese
  • 2 10 oz can of cream of mushroom
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions
 

  • First, you’ll need to make the rice according to the package instructions. See below for instructions to cook the rice in the casserole.
  • Preheat oven to 375℉
  • Brown the ground beef in a frying pan.
  • In a bowl, add in the cream of mushroom and sour cream.
  • Next, combine the cooked rice, ground beef, onion, and the sauce then place in the baking dish. Taste for salt and pepper before moving to the next step.
  • Smooth everything out then place cheese on top.
  • Bake for 25 minutes or until cheese is melted. Allow the casserole to cool then serve.
