Ingredients

  • 12 ounce Velveeta cheese
  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cup milk
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  • Cut the Velveeta into small cubes so it melts faster.
  • Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add the flour and stir it into the butter. Cook briefly until the mixture begins to bubble.
  • Pour in the milk, then add the cubed Velveeta.
  • Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for about 5–10 minutes, or until the Velveeta has completely melted and the sauce is smooth.
  • Remove from the heat and allow the cheese sauce to cool for a few minutes. Taste and add salt if needed, then serve warm.
