First in a small bowl combine the ingredients for the sauce. Mix everything well.
Now, in the crockpot, add the beef short ribs and pour the sauce around the ribs.
Cover the crockpot with the lid and place on high for 6 hours or low for 8 hours. This is a great all day recipe that you can set and forget it.
Once the time is up the short ribs will be fall-apart tender. Before serving taste for salt and juice the lime into the mix.
