Ingredients
 

  • 2 pounds boneless beef short ribs
  • 1 lime, squeezed

Cooking Sauce

  • 15 ounce can of tomato sauce
  • 1-2 chopped chilies from adobo sauce (1 for mild, 2 for spicy)
  • 2 tablespoon adobo sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • First in a small bowl combine the ingredients for the sauce. Mix everything well.
  • Now, in the crockpot, add the beef short ribs and pour the sauce around the ribs.
  • Cover the crockpot with the lid and place on high for 6 hours or low for 8 hours. This is a great all day recipe that you can set and forget it.
  • Once the time is up the short ribs will be fall-apart tender. Before serving taste for salt and juice the lime into the mix.
