Ingredients
 

  • 32 ounce bag of frozen cubed hash browns
  • 10 ounce can of cream of chicken
  • 1/2 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 pack ranch seasoning

Instructions
 

  • First, remove the frozen hash browns from the freezer and allow them to thaw. You can also leave them in the refrigerator overnight for this.
  • Now when ready to cook, in a bowl combine the cream of chicken, sour cream and the ranch seasoning together.
  • Next, add the thawed hash browns to the crockpot. Then, mix in the creamy sauce with the hash browns inside the crockpot.
  • Place on high for 2 hours or low for 4 hours. At the 2 hour mark add in shredded cheese. Mix half in the crockpot cheesy potatoes then the other half across the top of the dish.
  • Cook for a remaining 30 minutes then serve. Allow to cool a bit because the insides will be hot.
