Crockpot cheesy potatoes are the ultimate slow cooker side dish. Cheesy potatoes, seasoned with herbs and in a creamy sauce that easy to make with a few ingredients.
First, remove the frozen hash browns from the freezer and allow them to thaw. You can also leave them in the refrigerator overnight for this.
Now when ready to cook, in a bowl combine the cream of chicken, sour cream and the ranch seasoning together.
Next, add the thawed hash browns to the crockpot. Then, mix in the creamy sauce with the hash browns inside the crockpot.
Place on high for 2 hours or low for 4 hours. At the 2 hour mark add in shredded cheese. Mix half in the crockpot cheesy potatoes then the other half across the top of the dish.
Cook for a remaining 30 minutes then serve. Allow to cool a bit because the insides will be hot.
