Banana Oatmeal Bars

Equipment

  • 9x9 square baking pan

Ingredients

  • 1 cup banana mashed
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar light
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cup whole oats
  • 1/2 cup walnuts chopped
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350℉.
  • Next in a bowl, mix all the ingredients together minus the oats, chocolate chips and walnut until smooth.
  • Now, fold in the walnut, oats and chocolate chips.
  • Add the batter into a lined baking pan and smooth the top once all the batter is placed in the pan.
  • Now, place the pan in the oven and bake for 25 minutes. Start checking around 20 minutes because ovens will vary. A toothpick or knife inserted in the center should come out clean once they are done.
  • When they are done, remove from the oven and allow them to cool completely before serving.
