Ingredients

  • 2 medium avocado, sliced
  • 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • Cooking oil

Egg Wash

  • 2 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Flour

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin

Instructions

  • First, set up breading stations. Season the flour with the spices listed and set up a plate for the flour, breading and a bowl with the egg wash.
  • Next, slice the avocado and dip into the seasoned flour. Next, into the egg wash then roll the avocado in the breading.
  • Once you have all the avocados breaded add oil to a frying pan. Only deep enough to cover half the breaded avocado. You can flip them no need for deep frying.
  • Then, with the heat on medium high and the oil around a temperature of 300F fry the avocados. Turn them over after about 45 seconds because they do not need to cook long. You want them golden brown.
  • After you have fried all the avocados you can build the tacos and serve them.
