Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 bag baby Yukon potatoes
  • oil for cooking

Seasoning mix for 1 lb potatoes

  • 1 teaspoon salt add more to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • First, preheat the air fryer. While the air fryer is heating wash and dry the Yukon potatoes. Then, toss them in oil (about 1 TB).
  • Now, place the oil potatoes into the air fryer and cook them 15-20 minutes or until you can easily pierce them with a fork. You may need to add more time depending on your air fryer.
  • Once they are soft, carefully smash them with the back of a plate or the bottom of a cup. Make sure the service is flat and do not press too hard. You want them to have a little thickness to them.
  • Next, spray them or brush them with oil and add the seasoning mix to both sides. Now, place them back into the air fryer and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Lastly, allow them to cool a bit and serve alone or with a great dip.
