Ingredients
 

  • 4 bone-in chicken thighs
  • bbq sauce to taste

Spice rub

  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • First, remove the chicken thighs from the package and pat dry. Cover the chicken thighs in the homemade spice rub or use one of your favorites.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375℉.
  • Once the air fryer is heated add in the chicken thighs. You should be able to fit 4 without crowding them.
  • Cook the chicken thighs for 15 minutes and do not flip them. The top will get super crispy.
  • After 15 minutes flip them and sauce the bottom. Air fry for 3 minutes then flip and sauce the top and cook the remaining 3 minutes.
  • Remove from air fryer and allow them to cool, enjoy.
