Keto Lemonade

A delicious keto lemonade is just a recipe away to still enjoy this spring and summer drink while staying keto. In only 3 ingredients you can have a sugar free lemonade to die for!

  • 1/2 cup lemon juice (see notes for fresh or bottled)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sweetener
  • 3 cup water (see notes for correct taste)


  • In a small pot add lemon juice on medium heat. It doesn't need to boil just get hot enough to melt sweetner. Add sweetener and whisk until it has dissolved then remove from heat
  • In a pitcher pour in lemon juice and sweetener. Add in 2 cups of water and begin tasting for your liking of how sweet or sour you'd like it to be.
  • At this point add 1/2 cup at a time while tasting to avoid watering the lemonade down. If the lemonade is hot while tasting it will appear "less" sweet than what it really is
  • You can follow the directions and add the full 3 cups but from my experiences making lemonade sometimes you have to adjust more or less with the water.


Helpful Recipe Tips

  • Fresh lemons or lemon juice, it does make a difference in flavor but I use the lemon juice in the store most times. And, I still enjoy the recipe at the end of the day without all the added hassle of hoping I get enough juice from the lemons I have, to avoid having to run back to the store to buy more.
  • How much water, more water the less tart and sweet. There'll be a perfect balance for you but it's hard to say. I will give a recommendation but making this more than once each time it'll vary. Start with 1 cup of water. Then, start tasting and adding in 1/2 cup at a time. Note, if lemonade is hot it will diminish some of the sweetness. Basically, it can taste barely sweet hot and too sweet when cold.
