Low Carb Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits

It's not just a low carb biscuit! I had to make them cheddar bay biscuits. These low carb biscuits are keto friendly and packed with cheddar!

Ingredients
 

Low carb biscuits

  • 1 cup blanched almond flour
  • 3 tablespoon Coconut flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Xanthan gum
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • 1 large beaten egg

Garlic Butter

  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon Salt (Only add if using unsalted butter)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 330ºF
  • Combine blanched almond flour, coconut flour, xanthan gum, salt, shredded sharp cheddar, garlic powder and chopped parsley
  • toss in cut up butter then add in beaten egg
  • mix with hands
  • begin to pat out biscuits with hand. If stuffing with cheese this is where you add. Shown in video
  • Place in oven. You should have at least 8 biscuits if not they may be too big unless macros aren't a issue then proceed. The tops won't brown if any so you will have to lift them up and check for browning at the bottom.

garlic butter

  • melt butter down, add garlic and salt. Salt is optional of course

Notes

***If stuffing with cheese I suggest using the cheese cubes. If not crumbling or slicing cheese will be fine.
