Parmesan keto turkey meatballs

These parmesan keto turkey meatballs have just the right amount of spice and savory flavors. Making these the perfect option for a easy low carb dinner.

Ingredients
 

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon White pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic
  • 1 teaspoon parsely
  • 3/4 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded parmean cheese
  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon Salt (half if using salted butter)
  • 1 tablespoon oil for cooking

Instructions
 

  • combine ground turkey with salt, white pepper, garlic and parsley. Mix with clean hands or spoon
  • Roll seasoned ground turkey into meatballs with the diameter of a quarter but thick enough to be considered a meatball. Not super tiny but not so thick they will have a hard time cooking through
  • In a pan on medium/ high heat add oil if you desire and meatballs. Don't jumble up give them space to cook. Cook on both sides for about 2-3 minutes. They don't have to be done inside this step is for color.
  • Remove meatballs and then adjust low heat to medium low heat. Add in heavy cream, butter, salt and parmesan cheese. Combine then add meatballs back in
  • Allow to simmer. Let sauce begin to thicken and meatballs done. I liked them with a nice sprinkle of parmesan cheese across the tops.

Notes

Grating your own parmesan cheese is a great option due to the fillers in packaged cheese.
Make sure you top with cheese as well. It is an option but one I highly recommend.
