Ingredients
 

  • 2 tablespoon chlili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions
 

  • This entire mix is made for 1 lb of ground meat
  • Mix all spices and salt together in no particular order

How To Add To Meat

  • Brown 1 pound of ground beef. When browned add in 1/4 cup of water then pour in all the entire seasoning.
  • Next add in 1 TB of tomato paste to bring together and thicken, then serve

Helpful Recipe Tips

  • I use quality spices and flavor does vary from brand to brand. So, sourcing organic spices are your best option.
  • For those use to the thickness the packets bring xanthan gum will be your best friend. A little goes a long way so add about 1/4 cup of water with 1/8 teaspoon of gum. 
  • The way I cook my hamburger meat is very easy. Brown the meat in the pan then add the seasoning with water. Next, sprinkle the xanthan gum over while mixing. I sprinkle about half then see if the meat has the consistency I want. You don't want your meat dry. A small tip if you use higher fat meat you won't nee water. Simply use the fat in the pan instead.
